Our costs depend on a range of factors including what support you need with exporting, along with typical 3PL considerations such as how long your products take to pack, their size and weight for postage purposes, how much storage space you need and how often you want to send inventory to us. Other fulfilment companies may offer a flat rate for everyone, thereby overcharging some customers, or give an initially low price to win business, only to raise prices unexpectedly months later. To avoid these errors, we'll need to first get a better idea of your business before giving you a (no obligation) quote. This will be based around the actual costs for us providing our service to you, with a small margin on top.
We work with a range of carriers, from Royal Mail to couriers like DHL and Fedex. Which one we use for a particular package depends on factors like destination, package size and whether speedy delivery is required or minimising cost is the goal. If you have a particular courier you prefer, we can easily open an account with them or potentially use your existing account, connecting it with our software.
This depends on the size of your business, the amount of initial inventory you want to send over to us and where it's coming from, but in general we could get you set up within days. We have certain things we need to get done at our end, but the primary factor in set up time will be you and how quickly you can provide key information and send an initial inventory export. As soon as you're ready to transfer your inventory to us, we're ready to get going.
Our current facility is based in the village of Llanover, in the beautiful countryside of South-East Wales. Despite our rural location, we have excellent transport connections, with the A4042 passing close by and offering easy access to the M4 motorway. We are about 45 minutes' drive from the centre of Cardiff, less than three hours from the centre of London, and four hours from the Port of Dover. Abergavenny train station is 10 minutes away and is a little over two hours' train ride from London Paddington. If you would like to visit us and intend to arrive by train, we'd be very happy to collect you by car from Abergavenny station.
All of them. There might be a little IT setup initially, but we'll make it work and won't charge you extra for this.
No. We give you total flexibility.
How you present your business and operations is entirely up to you. We're your operational partners, and you can feel free to present your packaging and distribution as coming direct from you or via us, whatever you prefer. We welcome visits to our facility, should you want to take photos or film some of the packing taking place - we're not shy! Having owned and run ecommerce businesses of our own, we know how important it is for you and your customers to have complete visibility of the supply chain, and for you to be open about the behind-the-scenes element of your business.
Every product needs its own bespoke approach. We don't try to force generic ways of working on your products. In consultation with you, we start from scratch to find the safest, simplest and most cost-effective process for your products specifically. Our own ecommerce brands have a high SKU count and an extremely high number of packaging combinations, so we're comfortable with special packaging processes, whether you're a single-item brand or are selling hundreds of unique items.
